dashboard diaroma - beginning to recount our journey to the northeast usa

Sharing journal notes- Early October in Massachusetts

Today bought 2 apples, 3 garlic cloves and 1 small pumpkin with a lovely twisted vine still attached. Placed them all on the dashboard so that I can see them no matter our location during this journey. Not sure which makes me happier - autumn through my windshield or harvest on my dash.

Days later in Vermont

The dashboard diorama is having trouble holding it together on these forest roads. It doesn't help that there is little room to spare. Now, quartz, 4 wild green apples, an assortment of rocks and acorns, birch bark and 2 pumpkins inhabit the small space, joining the green snake toy who is a permanent resident. James is off wandering in the rain, while I sit knitting - happily....

This entertains me, somehow. No sudden stopping.
